After Effects masterclass

This After Effects masterclass training course is designed for those who are either new to After Effects or have some experience and seek professional guidance to understand After Effects at an advanced level.

Our accelerated learning format allows you to digest more information whilst making it more memorable. The emphasis is on how the brain works. The most important factor about a training course is what you remember afterwards, and that's our number one focus.

Building on the foundations is essential, so you'll begin by understanding the After Effects interface before getting hands-on with animation, layers, effects, and more. After this, you'll be ready to move on to more advanced features like animating text layers, keying, and working with 3D.

What to expect from this course

The first two days of After Effects training focus on getting you up to speed with the interface and progressing through the starter-level features, such as basic animation, layer control, effects, and more. Days three and four are targeted towards the more advanced features, and you'll create animated text layers, masks, shapes, work with 3D, and more. 

Our experienced training instructors will be with you, helping you go from a beginner to an advanced After Effects user.

You’ll leave the training course with advanced motion graphics and visual effects skills.

Target audience

This course is for designers, marketers, developers, and anyone who wants to advance their motion graphics and visual effects skills.  

Upon completion, you'll be able to:

• Navigate the After Effects interface and understand both the core and specialist features

• Implement basic and intermediate-level animations to your video content

• Master layer control, how to manage effects within layers and even adjustments within your layers

• Export your files efficiently, add to the render and Adobe media encoder queues

• Animate text layers, vector paths and master masks and shapes

• Utilise 3D layers, the 3D axis and integration with cinema 4D

• Integrate with other Adobe tools and be able to implement project management best practices within After Effects

Prerequisites

You must already possess basic computer skills, such as knowing how to open and save files onto a computer.
